'STAY LONGER'

'Stay Longer' is a series of photographs taken in Morocco with a point-and-shoot camera, the prints are on canvas ready to be the ground for beading work stitched directly into the image surface.

Each picture is a detail of a landscape, whether a broken ceramic on the floor or the shadow of a tree. The highlighted details give emphasis to the viewers' looking and move our eyes through the landscape at different speeds, they slow us and bring us closer. The beading work follows the line of a shadow or pieces of broken glass. There are transformations to enjoy when these mundane objects are given the space to turn into precious moments catching our eyes, and telling us where to look.
